Well, it has been awhile since I have been able to post. I am currently busy rehearsing for an upcoming tour. A friend shared this DVD with me recently. I highly recomend it. It is a tribute to George Harrison, put together by Eric Clapton. Performers include Anoushka Shankar, daughter of Sitar great Ravi Shankar, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Ringo Star, Paul McCartney, Billy Preston, Jeff Lynde, and Dhani Harrison. Eric Clapton also managed to get the original Monty Python group together. The only one missing is John Cleese and his spot is filled in by Tom Hanks. The music is incredible and you get a sense of the spirituality in Georges music. It is a must see.
